Just a quick blog post today as up to my elbows in flour for the last few days of shooting my book, B.I.Y. – Bake It Yourself. I promise I’ll add a good Mother’s Day recipe to my blog later in the week though.
This week’s been all about celebrating good food, and boy has there been a lot of it! But what’s the fastest food in the world? Scone! (I’ll get my coat). I’m sharing my St David’s Day recipe for bacon, leek and Welsh Cheddar scones today too.
Today was our youngest daughter’s 3rd birthday party and the first kid’s party we’ve had since the Bake Off aired so the pressure was on on the birthday cake front! I’ve had a pretty awesome baking week as I started shooting for my book this week too.
